
For those that have felt it before, there’s nothing worse then a well placed liver shot. A second after the shot, you think you might be ok, but then you’re instantly winded, your legs get stiff if they don’t outright buckle, your chest/abs just lock up and there’s this indescribable pain that lasts most of a round.
As much as I hate to be on receiving end of these, it’s a great way to stop or slow down an agressive opponent. I like to either go with an over hand right and follow it by liver punch or a counter left hand liver kick. Check out this great video explaining the science behind the liver punch after the jump.
